There has been a new development in the world of tech. The advent of artificial intelligence has been felt as a threat to many. And it seems tech genius Elon Musk is one of them. This time Elon Musk is all riled up against Apple. He even warned of banning Apple iPhones at his companies.
This comes just hours after Apple announced its new venture ‘Apple Intelligence’. This is their new generative artificial intelligence initiative. However, the Tesla CEO seems uncomfortable with the integration of AI into the OS platform.
Why Elon Musk Might Ban Apple Devices
On Monday, CEO Tim Cook announced Apple will be partnering up with OpenAI. They also revealed some new features that can be expected in the future from Apple devices. The next Apple operating system will have ChatGPT directly integrated into iPhones, which would allow the chatbot to write iMessages or answer other generative prompts.
There have been many mixed reactions to this since AI is a debatable topic to many. But it seems Elon Musk is not at all happy with this announcement. In an X post, the CEO wrote, “It’s patently absurd that Apple isn’t smart enough to make their own AI, yet is somehow capable of ensuring that OpenAI will protect your security & privacy!”
He also added, “Apple has no clue what’s actually going on once they hand your data over to OpenAI. They’re selling you down the river.” Musk wrote in the post, “And visitors will have to check their Apple devices at the door, where they will be stored in a Faraday cage”.
If Apple integrates OpenAI at the OS level, then Apple devices will be banned at my companies. That is an unacceptable security violation.

What Are The New Features Announced By Apple?
At the WWDC, Apple CEO Tim Cook revealed numerous exciting features for the upcoming Apple devices. ChatGPT will be integrated into Apple devices with their GPT-4o. Siri will be able to tap into ChatGPT and give answers to questions accordingly.
ChatGPT’s image tools will also be available as Compose. Users can generate images as they please. ChatGPT features will also be available while users write. Added to this another very exciting feature was announced. It is Apple Intelligence. This personal intelligence system will be available for iPhones, iPads and Mac devices.
