Emily Blunt is all set to go on a break from acting. The news comes at a time when she will be portraying an important role in Christopher Nolan’s ‘Oppenheimer’, which is scheduled to release on July 21, 2023.
Blunt has been working continuously and she already has three more projects in the line that will be released by 2024. Blunt revealed the reasons behind her break, saying that she wants to spend some time with her family.
Emily Blunt Wants To Prioritize Her Kids For Some Time
During her conversation with podcast host Bruce Bozzi, Emily Blunt addressed the experience of being a mother and how she has been adjusting everything alongside her busy schedule. She said that people always try to know how she balances everything.
She added that she won’t be working this year and continued: “I worked quite a bit last year and my oldest baby is nine – like we’re in the last year of single digits – and I just feel there are cornerstones to their day that is so important when they’re little.”
She further stated that she wants to be at home and live a normal life with her children. She spoke on the roles she portrayed over the years and that they helped in solving her stuttering problem. She also addressed the guilt to want something apart from being a mother and said that she wants her children to grow up and find something that they adore.

Emily Blunt’s Family Life
Emily Blunt and John Krasinski started dating in 2008 and got engaged the following year. The pair tied the knot in 2010 and have been residents of the Brooklyn Heights neighborhood in New York City.
The pair’s first child was born in 2014 and they revealed the news on Twitter at the time. They became the parents of another daughter in 2016.
John Krasinski is well-known for his appearance as Jack Ryan in the Amazon Prime Video series, ‘Jack Ryan.’ The show’s fourth and final season premiered on June 30, 2023.
