Gwyneth Paltrow Talks About What She Wants To Do Before She Dies
Gwyneth Paltrow has been enjoying her hiatus from acting. The 49-year-old actress last appeared in the film ‘Avengers: Endgame‘ in 2019. Her last television appearance was on ‘The Politician‘ and ‘The Goop Lab‘ two years ago. She also served as an executive producer on these shows.
In a recent interview with NBC News’ Sunday Today With Willie Geist, Paltrow talked about what she wants to do before she dies. She said, “I don’t daydream about the movie business at all, but…I did promise my mother that at some point before I die, told her that I would go and do a play. So I’m going to deliver on that promise at some point.”
When asked about whether she misses acting or not, ‘The Talented Mr. Ripley‘ actress responded, “No, I don’t. I really don’t miss it at all.”
She further added, “I think I’m so lucky that I got to do it, and I still, I’m sure I still will, at some point. And the team is always trying to get me to do a movie, but I really love what I do. And I love how immediate it is, and how, you know, we’re able to create product out of thin air that we believe in so much.”
Post acting, Paltrow has been focusing on her lifestyle brand Goop. She serves as its CEO and founder.

Paltrow had started dating Brad Pitt after they starred in ‘Se7en’ together. The two got engaged in December 1996 after seeing each other for two years. But, their romance didn’t last long after that, and they parted ways in 1997.
Recently, Paltrow and Brad Pitt met for a Q&A interview for Goop. With Father’s Day around the corner, the ‘Iron Man’ star talked to Pitt about her late father, director Bruce Paltrow.
Brad told Paltrow, “Oh man, everything works out, doesn’t it?” To which she responded, “I finally found the Brad I was supposed to marry,” jokingly referring to her husband Brad Falchuk, whom she married in 2018. “It just took me 20 years,” she added.
The ‘Fight Club’ actor then called their friendship “lovely” and said, “And I do love you.” Gwenyth responded with “I love you so much.”
