How Queen Elizabeth And Tom Cruise Became Friends Before The Monarch’s Death?

Queen Elizabeth apparently became really close friends with actor Tom Cruise just before she died. The UK’s longest-serving monarch, Queen Elizabeth II took her last breath on September 8, 2022, at the age of 96. However, just before this, there was a ceremony celebrating the Queen’s 70 years on the throne, which was attended by Cruise.

As mentioned in Page Six, the Queen and the ‘Mission Impossible’ actor “really hit it off” over the summer. This was told by a trusted source to the British media outlet, the Sunday Times of London.

Just before her death, the late monarch had found a friend in actor Tom Cruise. The Platinum Jubilee Celebrations of the Queen marking her 70th year anniversary on the throne was celebrated in the first half of 2020. The celebrations were attended by the ‘Top Gun‘ actor. However, the Monarch was not able to meet him as she was suffering from issues related to mobility.

Following this, the same source said, “The Queen let it be known that she was really disappointed not to have met Tom at the pageant, so he was invited to have a special tour of Windsor Castle with everything laid on for him. Afterward, just the two of them had tea together.”
