Hugh Jackman’s Kids

Why Did Hugh Jackman Adopt Kids?
Both Oscar Jackman and Eva Jackman have been adopted by Hugh Jackman and his wife. Hugh and Furness after some years of their marriage tried for children. However, complications arose and Deborra had two miscarriages. The couple also tried IVF, but that too did not work for them. After many losses and unsuccessful attempts, the couple decided that adoption was their best choice for becoming parents. “It was a challenge. It was a trying time for everyone involved, but especially for Deb,” said the Australian actor to People, adding, “We were always intending to adopt, so I told her, ‘Let’s just adopt now.‘”
Hugh and Deborra adopted their son Oscar in the year 2000. He elaborated that there wasn’t any need to push further and it was essential to their decision to adopt. The greatest need is for children of different races, as they learned from professionals working in the field. Jackman was also well aware of the difficulties his kids would encounter as a result of having such a well-known father.
‘The Greatest Showman‘ star talked about becoming a dad to two kids, “I think you’re starting to feel a little bit more at ease. Having a daughter certainly changes things up, but I couldn’t be happier with my two gorgeous children, a healthy boy and a healthy girl. I hug her and think, I don’t want you to encounter anything horrible ever in your life.”
