Robert De Niro is considered one of the most legendary actors in Hollywood who has still managed to hold the charm and grace of an actor at the age of 79. But his acting and looks are not the only things that he consistently manages to surprise his fans with.
The actor has recently welcomed his 7th child at the age of 79. As the man is embracing fatherhood again, he opened up about his experience despite being a low-key celebrity who prefers to keep his personal life private.

“I’m An 80-year-old Dad And It’s Great”: Robert De Niro Finds Fatherhood To Be Wondrous
In a recent interview with AARP: The Magazine, De Niro shared his sentiments about being a father at nearly 80, reflecting on the joy brought by his newborn daughter, Gia. “Everything that I’m consumed with or worried about or this and that just goes away when I look at her. So, that in itself is wondrous,” the ‘Killers of the Flower Moon‘ actor said.
“She has a very sweet kind of way of looking at you and just taking you in… So I don’t know where it’s going to go with her later when she gets older but she’s thinking and she’s observing everything and watching. It’s really interesting,” he added, speaking of his newborn daughter.
“So, you know, I’m an 80-year-old dad and it’s great, and I want to be around for as long as I can to… enjoy her,” he added.
Last year, at a film premiere, De Niro was speaking to The Associated Press, when he opened up about the unpredictability and wonder of becoming a father again. “It’s always good and mysterious, and you don’t know what the hell is going to happen,” he had said at the time.

The ‘Raging Bull’ Actor Has An Expansive Family, With His Oldest Child 51 Years Old
De Niro has an expansive family with children from his previous marriages. From his first marriage, he is a father to 51-year-old Drena and 46-year-old Raphael. From his second marriage, he has twins Julian and Aaron, both 27, another 24-year-old son Elliot and 11-year-old Helen Grace.
With the arrival of Gia in April last year, De Niro has become a father for the seventh time. He shares the parenthood with 65-year-old Tiffany Chen. The actor has thus been a father for over 47 years.
As a two-time Oscar winner for his notable roles in ‘The Godfather: Part II‘ and ‘Raging Bull’, De Niro’s impact on the world of entertainment remains intact. He has also received the Golden Globes’ Cecil B. DeMille Award in 2011, and was honored with the Presidential Medal of Freedom five years later.
