It was on the red carpet of ‘Mission: Impossible-Dead Reckoning Part 1‘ Italian premiere that an interviewer asked the ‘Top Gun’ about his sleep schedule. One of the ‘Mission: Impossible’ co-stars had shared with the interviewer that they had seen Tom Cruise sleep twice. One on the flight to Japan and the other in a zero-gravity bed.
The 61-year-old admitted that he tries not to sleep. “I think I don’t sleep, I go unconscious, that’s what happens. It’s like, I love [that] my days start early, and they go early,” he replied amused. With tight schedules for movies in which he is a lead, doing a lot of action, it’s understandable if he rarely sleeps.
