Nicki Minaj Takes To Instagram To Address Her Recent Arrest
Nicki Minaj took to Instagram to issue an apology after her show in Manchester was postponed because of her arrest in Amsterdam on Saturday. Minaj began her statement with gratitude, stating in the Instagram video, “Everyone who prayed for me today, may God cover you & all that is connected to you. May you be blessed beyond,” she said.
She then narrated her high hopes of making it to the Co-Op Live arena in England on time, even after spending hours in a jail cell. However, her plans could not come to fruition after her plane was held back.
“My plane didn’t take off for another 20 mins once I boarded,” Minaj said. “So they succeeded at their plan to not let me get on that stage tonight,” she added. She further shed light on the situation, as she revealed, “I succeeded @ getting to the root of it all by recording them & posting everything in real time. I have sooooooooo much video evidence. You wouldn’t believe it if I told you. I’ll have the lawyers & GOD take it from here tho.”

Nicki Minaj Apologizes To Fans For The Delay In Concert
Nicki Minaj then concluded her post with an apology to her fans while also acknowledging the disappointment that her show’s cancellation may have caused her Manchester fans. “They sure did know exactly how to hurt me today but this too, shall pass,” she wrote in the caption of the post.
After apologizing to her fans in the Instagram post, the singer also promised to compensate ticket holders with bonuses. She further reassured fans that her upcoming shows in Birmingham and Manchester will be carried out as planned.
Nicki Minaj was arrested after officials suspected that she was in possession of drugs on Saturday. The songstress was enroute from Amsterdam to England for a show on her Pink Friday 2 World Tour. After initially getting arrested, the singer denied all allegations made against her.
