Taylor Swift has officially confirmed that December would mark the end of an era — or precisely, her year-long Eras Tour. During her 100th show of the monumental tour in Liverpool, Swift announced there would be no additional dates extending into 2024.
The tour is set to wrap up on December 8 with a final performance in Vancouver, just before Swift’s 35th birthday. Looking back on the tour, Swift shared her emotions with the audience. Here’s what she said.
This Tour Has Really Become My Entire Life”: Taylor Swift Reflects On The Significance Of Eras Tour On Her Life
As she announced the conclusion of her Eras Tour in December this year, Taylor Swift said that the realization of the tour’s end is both distant and imminent for her. “A lot of you are like, ‘How are you going to celebrate the 100th show?’ And for me, the celebration of the 100th show for me means this is the very first time I’ve ever acknowledged to myself and admitted that this tour is going to end in December, like that’s it,” she told her audience during her performance in Liverpool.
“And that feels like so far away from now, but then again, it feels like we just played our first show on this tour, because you have made this so much fun for us,” she added.

Swift further spoke about how the tour has taken a significant time of her life and the significance it holds in her career. “I think that this tour has really become my entire life. Like, it’s taken over everything. I think I once had hobbies, but I don’t know what they were anymore… When I’m not on the stage, I’m dreaming about being back on the stage with you guys,” she said.
She also acknowledged the fans’ dedication and expressed gratitude for their immense love and support. “You’ve made plans so far in advance, you planned what you were going to wear, you memorized lyrics, you got yourselves here, you figured out parking, you figured out transportation,” Swift said.
In her speech delivered before performing ‘All Too Well’, Swift described the tour as, “the most exhausting, all-encompassing, but most joyful, most rewarding, most wonderful thing that has ever happened in my life.”
