Actor Jamie Foxx‘s spokesperson has refuted the sexual assault allegations pressed against the actor. Foxx was recently accused of assaulting a woman in 2015. She claimed that the incident happened at the Catch restaurant rooftop in New York City.
The woman has claimed that Foxx took her to a secluded area, and touched her inappropriately without her consent at the restaurant. While Foxx himself has not commented on the allegations, his spokesperson told The People that “the alleged incident never happened.”

Foxx’s Team May Take Legal Action Against Accuser
The spokesperson also hinted at possible legal actions against the woman. “Mr. Foxx intends to pursue a claim for malicious prosecution against this person and her attorneys for re-filing this frivolous action,” he said while speaking to The Poeple.
Foxx’s team has also asserted that this is not the first time such allegations have been leveled against the Oscar-winning actor. They said that a similar issue had come up in 2020 and were dismissed shortly after as they were found non-viable. Jamie Foxx’s team is sure that this is also one of such cases and will be disposed of soon.

Accuser Says Witnesses Saw Foxx Assaulting Her
The accuser has meanwhile claimed that she has a witness to the incident. She said the bar’s owner, Mark Birnbaum as well as the security guard at the restaurant were there when Foxx first complimented her appearance and then took her to a secluded part of the rooftop.
She has claimed in the lawsuit that a security guard witnessed Foxx groping her but did not intervene. Other than categorically denying the allegations, Foxx’s team has also put forth a retaliatory legal strategy indicating that the accuser faces a prospect of legal action from the Oscar-winning actor.
