J.K. Rowling Claps Back At Trans Activists For Slamming People Over Not Considering “Trans Girls As Real Girls”

The author of the widely popular Harry Potter series, J.K. Rowling was once one of the beloved authors for young fans. Rowling used to be an inspiration for girls to accomplish so much after going through many struggles.

However, in the past years, she has been getting bashed right and left for her transphobic nature. She has been vocal against the trans community and has posted many posts that are critical of the trans community.

This indeed has hurt many projects related to the “World Of Wizards”. Be it the film series ‘Fantastic Beasts‘ or the ‘Hogwarts Legacy’ game, all were affected due to Rowling’s transphobia. Now, recently once again, she got herself in a social media spat after she tried to give a befitting reply to a user for pointing out Rowling’s transphobia.

An X user named Chase Strangio explained how people it was kind of transphobic of people to believe that a trans girl beating a cis girl is unfair. To this, J.K. Rowling wrote a rather big paragraph explaining how cis girls are put at a disadvantage when they have to compete with a trans girl.

She said, “Astounding how often militant trans activists tell the rest of us, ‘so what you’re saying is, trans girls aren’t real girls’. Yes, that’s exactly what we’re saying. Girls are being robbed of honors and opportunities by mediocre, uber-privileged, establishment-enabled boys.”

People are again calling her out for this statement. However, there are some people who agree with her. It has become a common thing to indulge in a social media beef with alleged trans activists.

It started with her 2020’s ‘Troubled Blood’ novel which featured a transgender man seducing victims which led to a lot of criticism in the communities. She is also accused of supporting trans-exclusionary radical feminist ideology. Many actors and people have distanced themselves from her to avoid any criticism.

It is not a secret that J.K. Rowling and the stars of the hit movie franchise ‘Harry Potter’, based on her novels, do not have a good relationship now after Rowling openly talks about the trans community.

During an interview with the Atlantic, Radcliffe talked about Rowling’s stance on the trans community and said, ‘I do look at the person that I met… and the world that she created, and all of that is to me so deeply empathic”.

Back in 2020, after J.K. Rowling threw some transphobic remarks, the cast member showed spine and stood up for the trans community. After this, many people have called Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Gart and other Harry Potter stars ungrateful.

Daniel Radcliffe later in the interview addressed these being “ungrateful” comments. He said, “Obviously Harry Potter would not have happened without her, so nothing in my life would have probably happened the way it is without that person. But that doesn’t mean that you owe the things you truly believe to someone else for your entire life.”

J.K. Rowling is very firm in her stance. A few years ago, an org that does charity for the betterment of the LGBTQ+ community urged Rowling to meet young trans people to better know about them before speaking anything about them. However, it seems that didn’t happen. Her transphobia has caused irreparable damage to her reputation.
