Jennifer Lopez knows how to handle blunders as she has proved time and again. A recent malfunction she faced while performing live is just another example of how she can handle any problem like an absolute queen. Lopez retained her style and grace as the star encountered a minor on-air mishap during her performance on ‘Saturday Night Live’.

The songstress was seen pulling out a hair extension while singing and performing her new song ‘Can’t Get Enough‘ alongside Latto and REDMAN on the ‘SNL‘ stage in its latest episode. As Jennifer Lopez engrossed in her performance on the ‘SNL‘ stage on its latest episode, one of her extensions seemed to come loose. While it visibly disturbed her performance, the star made sure it did not reflect on stage. To handle it, she seamlessly yanked it out and continued the performance in Studio 8H without missing a beat.

Many of her fans took to social media to applaud her for pulling it off seamlessly. “What a performer, shake it off and keep on!” a fan wrote on social media, with clapping hands emojis.

The February 3 episode of ‘SNL‘ was hosted by Ayo Edebiri. the actress recently faced controversy after a resurfaced clip revealed her joking about Lopez’s singing abilities during a 2020 appearance on the ‘Scam Goddess‘ podcast. The 28-year-old actress claimed Lopez’s career was “one long scamand suggested she didn’t sing for most of her songs.

She thinks she’s on multiple tracks, but it’s not her,” Edebiri said at the time. “I think she thinks that she’s still good even though she’s not singing for most of these songs,” Edebiri said. She also suggested that Lopez does not write all of her songs.

A lot of the write-ups of the songs will be like, ‘J. Lo didn’t have time to make it to the studio,’ like, ‘J. Lo was busy,’” she said. “It’s like, ‘Doing what?’ Not singing, obviously!”

However, Edebiri addressed the controversy during a sketch on the show. “It’s wrong to leave mean comments or post comments just for clout or run your mouth on a podcast, and you don’t consider the impact because you’re 24 and stupid,” she said.

But I think I speak for everyone when I say from now on, we’re going to be a lot more thoughtful about what we post online,” Edebiri added.

Later in the episode, Lopez delivered another standout performance, singing the title track from her upcoming album, ‘This Is Me… Now’, dressed in a stunning pink floral, floor-length gown with a daring split.

The album is set for release on February 16 and will mark the ninth studio installment for Lopez. It will also serve as a sequel to her 2002 album, ‘This Is Me… Then’, inspired by her now-husband, Ben Affleck.
