    Recalling the incident, Renner shared how Fallon’s text message reached him during a particularly difficult time. “I was in the ICU, [had] all sorts of tubes in me,” he explained. “And Jimmy texted me, ‘Dude, you’re trending.'” The absurdity of the situation, of being critically injured and trending on social media, struck a chord with Renner.  

    “No, I’m dying,” he chuckled. He went on to explain how Fallon’s lighthearted message, despite the grim circumstances, served as a much-needed reminder of the support system he had around him. Fallon, chimed in, admitting he was “so worried” when he heard about the accident.  

    “We thought we lost you,” he confessed. Renner, ever the optimist, reassured him with a laugh, “For a second we did.” Additionally, Renner’s ability to find humor in a situation that could have easily been crippling speaks volumes about his positive outlook and fighting spirit.
