The 42-year-old, Jessica Simpson is now married to Eric Johnson and has three children. Before this, Simpson was in the spotlight during her four-year marriage to Nick Lachey. Shortly after their marriage ended, Simpson revealed to have an affair with an unnamed ‘A-list’ star, who already had a girlfriend. She describes the affair as, a “teenage fantasy come to life”, in her newly released book.

Why Did Jessica Simpson’s Affair End?
While talking about her secret affair, Jessica Simpson does not reveal the name of the massive star but the reason why she ended that affair. After Jessica and Nick’s marriage fell apart, she reconnected with the mystery hunk unaware of his relationship status. She confessed they kissed at Beverly Hills Hotel and described it as, “I felt this warm rush all the way down my body to the tips of my toes in my wedges,” in her essay. But soon this magical courtship came to an end.
Just when Jessica Simpson believed that her relationship with her mystery boyfriend was smooth sailing, it hit an iceberg leaving her heartbroken. She saw a picture of her love interest with some other women on the red carpet. He reassured her that she was moving out of his apartment. He also told Simpson, “You’re the only girl I want to be with. You’re it.” Well, this did not last long, when Simpson realized that her love interest was not being entirely truthful. She expressed in her recent release, “I didn’t care if he was my teenage fantasy come to life, this was not a choice that same girl, my younger self, would be proud of.”

Who Might Be The Mystery Hunk In Jessica Simpson’s Book?
This is not the first time Jessica Simpson is completely open about her love life. In 2020, in her memoir, she claimed to be in an emotional affair with Johnny Knoxville while they were on the sets of “Dukes of Hazzard“. But this is the first time, she did not reveal the name of this massive star, with whom she ended the affair. There might be a few speculations about who this movie star might be.
According to the clues in her recent release, ‘Movie Star: They Always Say They are Single’, it might be Mark Wahlberg. The ‘Ted‘ famed actor was spotted in jeans and a t-shirt, just like described in Jessica Simpson’s recent release. Wahlberg attended the Golden Globes with his now-wife, Rhea Durham, who was pregnant at the time. “I will tell you this… he is still a movie star! was Simpson’s comment on the mystery hunk to People.
