Kanye West is perhaps one of the most controversial rappers in the history of Hollywood. The man is known for several things that are plain problematic about him — be it his political opinions, his penchant for showing off vulgar photos of his wife, his overconfidence, or his much-criticized parenting style. In another addition to the list, the rapper has now been accused of sexual assault.
A former assistant of Kanye West has filed a lawsuit against him, alleging sexual harassment, wrongful termination, and unpaid wages. Here’s all about the lawsuit and yet another controversy that West has seemingly gotten himself mired into.
Kanye West’s Sexually Explicit Behavior Lands Him In Trouble Again
Kanye West’s former assistant Lauren Pisciotta, who worked for him in 2021 and 2022, has claimed he exploited her both sexually and financially while she worked for him. As per the lawsuit, Pisciotta was supporting herself through an OnlyFans profile when she met Kanye.
The rapper then hired her to assist with his fashion line. However, she also ended up contributing to three songs on his album ‘Donda’. Pisciotta alleges that in 2022, West asked her to cease her OnlyFans activities and offered her a $1 million-per-year salary to do so. She accepted the offer.
However, after the agreement, West began sending her sexually explicit text messages. This behavior escalated as West also began masturbating during phone calls with her and sending her pornographic videos he made with another woman, the lawsuit claims.

Lauren Pisciotta Has Made Multiple Accusations Against Kanye West
Lauren Pisciotta was later promoted to a position with a $4 million annual salary, but she was fired in late 2022. According to the lawsuit, West offered her a $3 million severance package, which she never received.
The lawsuit also includes accusations of breach of contract, sexual harassment, wrongful termination, hostile work environment, gender discrimination, unlawful retaliation, and unpaid wages.
Pisciotta has now sought coverage of all legal fees, compensatory and punitive damages, penalties under relevant labor laws, and any other damages the court may deem appropriate.
This is not the first time that West has found himself in a legal brawl. In April, another former employee accused him of racial discrimination and harassment. In February, West was sued by the estate of Donna Summer for using a sample of her song ‘I Feel Love‘ without permission. The rapper or his representative has not yet commented on the matter.
