Fans have pointed out that the clothing has some racist undertone. The clothes were to be part of Kanye’s Season 9 Yeezy collection in October 2022 but didn’t make it to the display. The said item is a white zip-up hoodie that has small eye holes visible or else covers the whole face.
Fans expressed concerns as the Yeezy wear had a resemblance to the white hoods worn by Ku Klux Klan, a white supremacist group. The public outcry also pointed out the fact that the anonymity provided through the hood is also closely related to the white supremacist group. According to Mirror, fans pointed out the fact that color would have reduced the gravity of the situation.
