This was the first time that the song was performed since her 2018 Reputation tour. Now the singer had a fit of laughter as she sang the lines “And here’s to you, ’cause forgiveness is a nice thing to do”. Once composed, Swift followed it up with the wit remark “I can’t even say it with a straight face“. Though the quip and laughs are part of the music, fans were excited to hear the song being performed after a very long time.

About Taylor Swift And Kanye West’s Long-Time Feud
Everything started back in 2009 after the infamous Video Music Award scandal. But the ‘Don’t Blame Me’ singer and the Yeezy founder got back on good terms in 2015. Things got worse when Kanye West released his song ‘Famous‘ which had lyrics and visuals that referred to Taylor Swift. In the coming years, they were multiple phone call leaks between the two artists that showed that Swift approved of the lyrics.
Finally in 2017 came the song This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things. In the song, Taylor made references to her feud with Kanye and how she was canceled later. Many fans think that the “laugh was personal“. While others feel that the song was saved for LA in case Kanye’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian attended the event.
