The gay community on Twitter could not keep calm after Bad Bunny was confirmed to be single again. The social media platform got flooded with tweets from people from the LGBTQIA+ community, with an old video of Bad Bunny dancing on Instagram Live.

In the video which is originally from 2020, the rapper can be seen intimately grinding against his then-girlfriend Gabriela Berlingeri in San Juan. The video sparked a lively response from the gay community on Twitter when it was initially posted, with fans saying, “Bad Bunny is truly the bottom of my dreams.”

Now that the rapper is single again, the video has made a dramatic comeback, with one of the netizens captioning it: “The evil has been defeated. Bad Bunny, we are so back“. The breakup has perhaps come up as a hope for the gay community that Bad Bunny, a vocal LGBTQIA+ ally, might be back in their league.

Bad Bunny’s unwavering support for the gay community, as well as his “no labels” on sexuality stance has made him a favorite in the community. Bad Bunny has maintained intrigue about his sexuality among his fans.

It does not define me,” he had said when asked about sexuality in a 2020 interview, indicating that his sexual orientation is fluid. “At the moment, I am heterosexual and I like women,” he had clarified

In 2019, he was actively involved in Puerto Rico protests for gay rights. He had also once confronted fellow artist Don Omar for his anti-gay remarks. “Homophobia in this day and age? How embarrassing, man,” he had said.

On an episode of ‘The Tonight Show’ starring Jimmy Fallon in 2020, Bad Bunny paid homage to Alexa Negrón Luciano, a trans woman who was killed in 2020. He came to the show wearing a T-shirt that read, “They killed Alexa, not a man with a skirt.”

Kendall and Bad Bunny had been dating for almost a year, with their last public appearance at the Saturday Night Live afterparty in October. Though neither of the two has commented on the break-up yet, a source confirmed with Entertainment Tonight that they broke up because of their ‘crazy busy schedules’.
