Recently, while promoting his new project, ‘Industry’ season 3, Harington talked to the Associated Press. There he explained why he cannot watch the prequel series. Harington is the second star after Emilia Clarke who said they will not be watching the prequel.

Despite playing a Targaryen unknowingly in ‘Game Of Thrones’, Kit Harington will not be watching the prequel based on House Targaryen. And why is that? Harington reveals the reason in an interview with the Associated Press.
“I just can’t watch it,” Harington said. “I think for me it’s just I’ve spent too long there.” He continued, “And I wish them all the best, and I hope, I hear it’s wonderful and going really well. But I don’t think I’ll ever watch that show, and I don’t think I’ll watch ‘Game of Thrones’ again for a few years.”

Kit Harington Has Some Advice For The Cast Of ‘House Of The Dragon’
Although the second season of the HBO show received a lot of love from fans, some are pretty disappointed with the season finale. Kit Harington can relate to this as the season 8 finale of ‘Game Of Thrones‘ also received a lot of hate online. So on his appearance on CBS Mornings, Harington has some pieces of advice for the cast.
The interviewer asked Harington what advice he has for the cast of the prequel against all the hate they are receiving. Here’s what he said. “Don’t read social media,” Harington said. He also advised the actors not to search for their names on social media or even the show name. “And you won’t get wrapped up in your own bubble,” he added.
