The former One Direction star, Liam Payne, was seen hand-in-hand with a new girl – Instagram model Aliana Mawla. The singer made an appearance with his new girlfriend only weeks after he broke his engagement with fiancee Maya Henry.
The couple made their way across the airport terminal following a flight from Los Angeles. During this time, a shirtless Liam also shared a video of himself on Instagram flexing his abs.
While Aliana was seen looking fab in a pair of casual joggers and white trainers, she carried a mint green Chanel handbag. Liam went for a casual look in a black T-shirt and tracksuit bottoms teamed with a pair of white running shoes.
The singer had a protective arm around the model’s shoulders as they made their way out of the airport. They were soon greeted by a friend and they all made their way to the carpark. Here, Liam quickly ushered his girlfriend into the rear of the vehicle.
It has been confirmed that Liam and Maya separated indefinitely last month after previously calling off their engagement in June 2021 – only to rekindle their romance two months later.
Maya Still Calls Liam Her ‘Fiancé’
The break-up news of Liam and Maya came just hours after photos of the singer with his arms wrapped around American model Aliana, 24, emerged on a fan’s Instagram account, alongside further images of the pair holding hands. The model had starred in Liam’s 2018 music video for J. Balvin. Back then, she had proudly promoted her sultry appearance in the music video.
Though Maya and Liam have ended their relationship., she still referred to him as her fiancé in a statement about Liam and his new relationship. “I love all of the fans so much but please stop sending me these pictures of my fiancé wrapped around another woman. This is not me and it’s hard enough knowing this has happened without seeing it. Enough now,” it read.
The couple reportedly rekindled their relationship in July, a month after calling off their engagement. Liam had originally proposed in August 2020 after a year of dating. The two had known of each other for years. They first met at a meet-and-greet event when One Direction fan Maya was just 15 years old.
Previously, Liam was with Cheryl Cole, 38, but the couple split in 2018 after a two-and-a-half-year romance. Together, they have a four-year-old son Bear.
