Ward was born in Long Beach, California on February 3, 1977, as Ashley Maitland Welkos. She began her career as Jessica Forrester on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful‘, where she had appeared for about three years. Ward achieved fame after the role of Rachel Mcguire, in the hit primetime series, ‘Boy Meets World‘ (1993). She had also appeared as a guest star on ‘Home Improvement‘ in 1991.
