In ‘Stranger Things‘, Modine’s character Dr. Brenner had a complex relationship with Brown’s character Eleven. It has been a central plot point throughout the series. Brenner is an ominous government scientist who is the root cause of everything bad that happens on the show.

His character, whom Eleven refers to as “Papa”, dies a ruthless death and Brown witnesses it with tears in her eyes. It is one of the most bitter-sweet scenes on the show. Though he is evil on the show, Modine’s involvement in Brown’s real-life has been on positive notes.

Brown and Bongiovi’s engagement was announced in April, after they dated each other for two and a half years. While details of their wedding date remain undisclosed, fans eagerly anticipate their trip down the aisle.
