Julia Fox took to TikTok to respond to a video criticizing a Bumble app billboard, but also ended up revealing her decision to stay celibate which she has been following since 2021.
In response to the dating app Bumble’s billboard message reading “A vow of celibacy is not the answer,” Fox wrote: “2.5 years of celibacy and never been better [to be honest].” The message was received with a mixed feeling by Fox’s 3.3M Instagram/TikTok followers.
Juli Fox has had several high-profile affairs in the past, including a six-week fling with Kanye West and a marriage to Brooklyn private pilot Peter Artemiev, with whom she also shares a son. Artemiev and Fox were married for three years until their 2022 divorce.
In October 2022, Julia announced that she had “sworn off men” and decided to “never” give birth again. “I don’t need men to like me and that is a luxury that I earned [after] making men like me or find me desirable or interesting or attractive for so many years,” Fox explained at the time through a TikTok video.

Julia Fox also opened up about other things related to her romantic and sexual life in the TikTok video posted in 2022. “I used to be so jealous of my friends that did not need to use their sexuality to get what they wanted. They just had rich parents or were set up properly and had an education, etc. So I just want to say, like, no hate to the girlies that have lots of male followers,” the actress explained.
“I used to be like that too. But now I’m at a place where I’m like, “F*** it. I don’t give a f***.” Also I, like, have a kid already so it’s like I did what I was supposed to do by society standards, my vagine is retired. The doors are closed, shut, sealed after what she went through!” Fox added.
From her recent statement, it is clear that she has found fulfillment in celibacy. As for her career, Fox recently unveiled her singing debut in the music video for ‘Down the Drain’, set in a BDSM dungeon similar to the one used to work at in her late teens.
