Cannon’s personal life has been widely discussed on social media for being a father of 12 kids. Meanwhile, as he has been called a ‘deadbeat dad’ by many people, he has decided to respond to all those claims.

Nick Cannon Responds To The Tag Of ‘Deadbeat Dad’
Nick Cannon has been referred to as a ‘deadbeat dad’ by many people who claim he is trying to start a cult. However, while speaking to The Los Angeles Times on May 7, 2023, he responded to the same, saying that he has been “villainized.”
He added, “I hear all the time: ‘You can’t be present for all those children.’ So, therefore, I get this deadbeat dad title.” Cannon stated that although he has been in a relationship several times in the past, he does not believe in monogamy.
Cannon revealed that he earns $100 million a year and this has been the result of him participating in shows like ‘The Masked Singer‘, ‘Beat Shazam‘, ‘Celebrity Prank Wars‘, and more. He has been working in various other shows and speaking of spending time with his children, he said: “If you feel loved when you see your dad, that’s what’s gonna resonate.”
Further, Cannon stated that he is known as a father of several kids. He continued: “But I’m really at a place now where I don’t care what people know. I’d rather just operate. It’s more about really being a good person instead of telling people you’re a good person.”

Nick Cannon: Father Of 12 Children
Nick Cannon was first engaged to model Selita Ebanks in 2007 and then tied the knot with Mariah Carey in April 2008. They welcomed twins in April 2011 and the duo separated in 2014.
He then became the father of three children between 2017 and 2022 with model Brittany Bell. Cannon also had another child with model Alyssa Scott in June 2021 but he died when he was only five months old. But the duo then welcomed a daughter in December 2022.
Cannon also has three more children with Abby De La Rosa and he welcomed a son with model Bre Tiesi in June 2022. He became the father of another daughter with model LaNisha Cole in September 2022.
