    There is a mantra that Reese Witherspoon has to keep her life going without giving much heed to other’s opinions. “I think I started so young, and rejection was such an early piece of my life that I learned a long time ago that other people’s opinions of me are none of my business,” she said.

    “I really don’t care what anybody thinks. I’m gonna do my work anyway. I’m gonna date whoever I want, go hang out with a friend nobody likes,” she remarked. “You’re totally free,” the 47-year-old said if you can release the “feeling of other people’s opinions crushing you or holding you down.”

    Being in her 40s, Reese Witherspoon also urges people to support themselves with people who add more value to their lives. “Everybody out there over 40 knows. If you aren’t adding to my life, get the heck outta my life,” the Legally Blonde’ star said. The celeb once also shared how even with her industry experience, she was not taken seriously by as a filmmaker. But she went on to prove people wrong.

    Though the ‘Cruel Intentions’ actress did have hits in her career and even Academy Award wins and nominations, it was ‘Little Big Lies’ that boosted her confidence in the industry. It’s after this series that the ‘Wild’ actress relaunched and rechristened her company to give birth to Hello Sunshine. The Hollywood Reporter calls it a ‘storytelling brand’ that turns books into movies and series.
