Winona Ryder Talks About Paul Mescal’s Growing Fame
In an interview with Esquire, Winona Ryder opened up about the problems Paul Mescal is facing as his fame in Hollywood continues to grow. Set to appear in ‘Gladiator 2‘ next, the actor has attained international recognition with his movies so far.
Talking about the same, Ryder opened up about the success and the recognition Mescal has gained. “I loved Normal People so much, and then I saw these paparazzi pictures of the actor going to the store in his shorts,” she said.
“And I really felt like, ‘This poor guy!’ This great actor who did this amazing thing and now he’s getting followed by photographers,” Ryder said.
Ryder’s empathy for Mescal perhaps comes from her own experience as she herself has also received unwanted attention on her nerves and needed time to cope with all of that.

Winona Ryder’s Opinion On Personal And Public World
Winona Ryder spoke confidently about several issues regarding the privacy invasion of the celebrities. She feels a certain kind of discomfort with the notion of fame.
She added, “I don’t subscribe to the theory that acting means signing up to be this public person, I don’t think they’re the same thing. It doesn’t feel right to me.”
Moreover, her perspective engages with the fact that fans have the right to information about everything related to celebrities’ lives too. Winona Ryder added that there should be a fine line between public and private lives.
