Actor Cuba Gooding Jr did not allow his father to be on the set of ‘Jerry Maguire‘ following an incident that was embarrassing. Cuba’s father reportedly questioned Tom Cruise if he is gay. The incident happened when he worked along with Cruise in the latter’s biggest and most successful project titled ‘Jerry McGuire‘.
Cuba explained about how the situation became awkward because of his father, mentioning that he almost fainted and thought that should disappear. Tom laughed and replied by saying ‘no’. He further stated his movie’s success and spoke his popular catchphrase, “Show me the money” following which he gained recognition despite that the film was released a long time back in 1996.
Back in the day, there were a lot of rumors about Cruise’s gay nature and people thought his relationships failed because he was homosexual.

He again married in 1990 to his second wife actress Nicole Kidman and divorced in 2001. Cruise was in a relationship with Penelope Cruz who also appeared alongside him in Vanilla Sky. They separated in 2004. Cruise started dating actress Katie Holmes in April 2005 but Holmes applied for divorce in June 2012 and they also signed a divorce settlement which was finalized by the lawyers in July the same year.
