On her podcast, ‘Archetypes’, Meghan Markle was in conversation with actress Jameela Jamil, who hails Markle “from across the pond”, according to New York Post. The ‘She Hulk’ actress asked Markle, “You alright, babe? Hello?”, to which the ‘Suits’ star replied, “Ello. Hello, my friend. How are you doing?”

According to a transcript of the episode, Jamil is quoted as saying “ello” and laughing after, with Markle replying, “Hello, my friend. How are you doing?” It is this four letter word that is causing quite the stir on social media against the former ‘Deal or No Deal’ briefcase girl. There can be hundred other good things to take from the episode but no, Twitter will slam that four letter word.

We can say that Twitter is a hatred hot hub now. Most of the trending hashtags are either denouncing a celebrity or just fun pranks (like the #RIPJimmyFallon one). Meghan Markle falls under the former. Most of the tweets and hashtags are spewing hatred against the Duchess for anything she does. Even if she calls her husband “my husband”, she is getting solid hate from everywhere.

“Is Meghan trying to do a British accent again?” a user asked. One person tweeted, “Now making fun of the British accent? Please Meghan, just shut up.” “Pathetic really,” another quipped, according to Express, while another hater declared about the podcast pair, “They are both as ‘artificial’ as they come!!!”

In a conversation with Meghan on the podcast, Jamil shared that it was unfair that Markle got ridiculed for everything she did. “It’s an unfathomable amount of s— that you take, Meghan. I can’t believe it,” she said. “And I fought back on your behalf for years before I’d ever met you because I was so outraged by the twisting of this very normal, very kind, very civilized woman. That demonization just shows how afraid they are of you.”

“I’m so sorry you’ve had to withstand it,” Jamil continued. “It has highlighted for us the intense unkindness and bigotry and misogyny of our media. And I think and I hope and I feel faith that the tides are changing because so many of us are fighting back.” Although many oppose Markle, a good number of people support the Duchess on her walk-out from the Royal family and her new podcast venture.
