Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag are growing their family! ‘The Hills: New Beginnings‘ star is expecting her second child with Spencer Pratt. Gunner Stone, the couple’s 4-year-old son, is their first child together.
Heidi has been candid with her followers about the difficulties she and Spencer had in trying to conceive another child over the previous year. Heidi was caught eating raw bison heart on the move in March as part of a new diet trend she and Spencer were following to help them conceive a second child.

Heidi Montag On Her 2nd Baby
Heidi Montag underwent surgery in August 2021 in order to improve her chances of conceiving. She used YouTube to broadcast her hysteroscopic polypectomy operation at the time, telling her fans that she intended to conceive immediately after it.

She said that she may have intercourse in two days and that she is ovulating at the same time. Heidi was hopeful to be able to pull it off then. During her livestream, she also mentioned that she wasn’t cramping and that the anesthesia was going well too.
“I have been trying to get pregnant for over a year and a half, I’m willing to try different things. It’s a great source of nutrients! I have felt incredible on this diet. A lot more energy, clarity, increased libido, and overall improvement on chronic pain I have had. Also now I’ve been taking the supplements called ‘Her Package’ from Heart and Soil that has improved my menstrual cycle.”
Heidi shared how she made it possible
The couple initially phoned their respective moms to inform them of their pregnancy. To break the news to Gunner, the couple bought a stuffed animal with ‘Big Brother’ written on it.

Heidi Montag shared that her son first wanted a brother, but they explained to him that he might have a sister. And then he started getting excited for the baby, no matter what the gender was.
Montag also said that it was her second pregnancy that opened her eyes to what most of the pregnant women around would be facing. She called it tough, but at the same time kept thriving to keep things positive. Most of all, she called her Baby No.2 a ‘Miracle Baby’.
