It’s been quite a long time since Sylvester Stallone ruled the big screens. Since 2019’s ‘Rambo: Last Blood’, fans have been quite eagerly waiting to see their favorite star show up in a movie. Well, there’s some good news for all the Stallone fans out there.
The actor is back again on screen. Not just with any movie, but with his first-ever live-action role. Following the confirmation of the release date, the first look of Stallone’s superhero movie ‘Samaritan’ was showcased. Are you guys excited?

Sylvester Stallone In His New Superhero Avatar From ‘Samaritan’
The action film revolves around a thrilling plot. It features Stallone as the titular superhero who has been in hiding for 20 years since a battle with his rival, Nemesis. But as the story goes on, his teenage neighbor tempts him out of retirement with the goal to save Granite City. ‘Samaritan‘ also stars ‘Euphoria‘ actor Javon Walton, comedian Martin Starr and Pilou Asbaek from ‘Game of Thrones‘.
Of the film, Stallone said, “I love action films that also have heart. I wanted to be involved with Samaritan because this story has many layers that I think people can relate to. It’s something of a morality tale that is also very exciting to watch.”
He added, “We are thrilled that this will be seen globally on Prime Video where my fans and all audiences can enjoy it together around the world.”
What Are The Actor’s Upcoming Projects?
The most awaited upcoming project from Sylvester Stallone is gonna be ‘Samaritan’. The credit for direction goes to Julius Avery who is best known for his World War II sci-fi actioner ‘Overlord‘. The film will hit Amazon Prime Video on August 26.
Besides this, Stallone will reprise his role of Barney Ross alongside Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, and Randy Couture in the upcoming ‘Expendables 4‘. New additions to the show will include Megan Fox, 50 Cent, and Iko Uwais. Later this year, Stallone will also appear in his first-ever TV series ‘Tulsa King’. In it, the actor will play a Mafia capo who has just been released from prison and sent to Tulsa, Oklahoma to build an empire.
