Sean Penn Denies Hitting Madonna During Their Marriage
Sean Penn and Madonna’s marriage had lots of ups and downs with rumors of Penn hitting Madonna with a baseball bat. During an interview with the New York Times, Penn said that police came to his house, claiming that Madonna was worried about the guns in the house. He said, “I had a freaking SWAT team come into my house”.
Penn continued, “I said: ‘I’m not coming out. I’m going to finish my breakfast.’ The next thing I knew, windows were being broken all around the house and they came in.” The police entered his house without his permission and handcuffed him. He added, “They had me in handcuffs”.

Despite All Hardships, Penn Still Loves Madonna
The rumors weren’t confirmed but Sean Penn still agrees that he loves Madonna and could never hit her. He said that, “She’s Someone I love”.
The actor added, “It turns out it’s a lot quicker to repair a friendship after divorce if there are not kids involved. It took [ex-wife Robin Wright] and I quite a while. There was a lot of drama. Much more important to repair it if there are kids involved, but no easy swing, right?”
It is a whole different story as Madonna was the one who filed for divorce and initiated the paperwork for divorce. The reports also claimed that he not only hit her with a baseball bat but also tied her to a chair for hours. However, Madonna has denied the allegations of assault.
She claimed during an interview, “While we certainly had more than one heated argument during our marriage, Sean has never struck me, ‘tied me up,’ or physically assaulted me, and any report to the contrary is completely outrageous, malicious, reckless, and false.”
