During the ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One’ premiere, the 60-year-old actor immediately said yes to the prospect of working with the ‘Lost In Translation’ actor. Cruise spoke highly of Johansson’s stardom, immediately agreeing to work with her. Whatever this unmade movie is, it has moved to the top of everyone’s watchlist.

Tom Cruise is in awe of Scarlett Johansson. At the Rome premiere of ‘Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part One,‘ the 60-year-old actor lit up when the reporter mentioned Johansson’s name. The 60-year-old actor called Johansson a “great actress and a movie star” and assured The Hollywood Reporter that a collaboration between the two is definitely on the horizon.
The ‘Mission: Impossible‘ star told the outlet, “Look, I’ve watched her career her whole life. She’s enormously talented, very charismatic. It’d be fun. She could do everything. She could do comedy, drama, action, suspense. She’s someone that really draws you in on the screen, on camera. So absolutely, it’s gonna happen.”

It was Scarlett Johansson who got the ball rolling. During the New York premiere of Wes Anderson’s latest star-studded ensemble, ‘Asteroid City,’ the cast was asked to name their dream co-star. Johansson named Tom Cruise as someone she’s hoping to work with soon. As it turns out, they are dying to work with each other.
But before we see this dream collaboration, Cruise and Johansson have upcoming releases that will compete at the box office. Scarlett Johansson’s ‘Asteroid City’ has a US release date of May 23, 2023, while Tom Cruise’s seventh installment of ‘Mission: Impossible’ has a release date of July 12, 2023.
