DC has presented Superman in different forms for the fans and audience until now. The latest role of Superman was portrayed by Henry Cavill which was loved by the fans of DC.
But most people do not know that the role of Superman was initially given to Jamie Dornan. But because of some reasons, Dornan lost the role and it was instead portrayed by Cavill.

Jamie Dornan Became Competitive After Losing Superman Role To Henry Cavill
After he lost the DCEU’s character to Henry Cavill, Jamie Dornan proved himself and become one the most successful personalities in Hollywood. Although Dornan could not portray Superman, he tried to reach on top, and for doing the same, he approached DC’s biggest competitor, Marvel. He spoke to Kevin Feige for a role trying to cover up everything that he lost for being rejected as Superman.
Although Dornan played the lead role in the ‘Fifty Shades‘ franchise, he could not get international recognition for the same. The franchise was commercially successful but Dornan’s acting was criticized by some. Although there is no confirmation about the MCU role he auditioned for, it could be Malekith in ‘Thor: The Dark World.’

Jamie Dornan is an actor, model, and musician who is from Northern Ireland and his full name is James Peter Maxwell Dornan. He started his career in modeling in 2001 and made his acting debut in 2006. He came into the limelight after portraying the character of Sheriff Graham Humbert in the series ‘Once Upon a Time‘. After that Dornan did several projects and his most acclaimed films include ‘A Private War’, ‘My Dinner with Hervé’, ‘Belfast’, ‘Synchronic’, ‘Barb’, and ‘Star Go to Vista Del Mar’. The actor also appeared in some TV shows like ‘The Fall’, ‘Death and Nightingales’, ‘The Tourist’, and many more.
