The US Presidential elections are approaching and the political winds are seemingly ready to change in all possible industries that have Donald Trump‘s influence. Rapper Snoop Dogg, who has been very vocal in his criticism of Trump and his politics, has switched sides and is now in support of the Republican leader.
Snoop Dogg is infamous for pulling off daring antics that show the extra mile he goes to bring down Donald Trump. The rapper has even gone so far as to shoot down a Trump-like clown in one of his music videos. However, with his recent statement, Snoop Dogg has indicated that his longstanding beef with Trump may have been resolved.

Snoop Dogg Says Donald Trump Has “Done Only Great Things” For Him
In an interview with The Sunday Times, Snoop Dogg asserted that he acknowledges Trump’s positive actions. “Donald Trump? He ain’t done nothing wrong to me,” he said during the interview. “He has done only great things for me,” he added.
“I have nothing but love and respect for Donald Trump,” Snoop Dogg said. The rapper particularly recalled the 2021 decision to pardon Michael “Harry-O” Harris, who had served time for attempted murder and drug offenses.
Harris is the co-founder of Death Row Records, who spent 30 years behind bars for the drug charge before Trump pardoned him and 73 others after the murder charges against him were dropped.

Snoop Dogg Has A History Of Ruthlessly Criticizing Trump
Snoop Dogg’s shift in attitude comes as a surprise, particularly because of his persistent past stance against Donald Trump. In a 2017 music video, the rapper had mimed shooting a clown dressed as Trump. He also released a satirical song in 2017 titled ‘M.A.C.A (Make America Crip Again)’ with explicit anti-Trump lyrics. “The president say he wants to Make America Great Again / F— that s—” the song lyrics said.
In 2020, Snoop referred to Trump as a “f—ing weirdo,” as he told his followers, “If you voted for him, I have no problem with that, but if you’re still with him, f— you.”
Trump has also noticed the scrutiny from Snoop Dogg and hasn’t shied away from responding. Trump took to social media after Snoop Dogg assassinated the clown version of him in the ‘Lavender‘ music video. “Can you imagine what the outcry would be if [Snoop Dogg,] failing career and all, had aimed and fired the gun at President Obama? Jail time!” Trump wrote in the tweet at the time.
Though Snoop Dogg praised Trump for whatever good he found in him, the rapper did not promise to vote for him. When asked who would he choose to vote for in the upcoming Trump-Biden competition, the rapper refused to comment.
