The headlines read divorce settlement between the power couple stayed amicable. The duo has officially closed the chapter on their marriage, signaling the beginning of new journeys and by the appearances, both parties seemed to have moved on.

Sofia Vergara And Joe Manganiello’s Divorce Settlement
After six months of legal back-and-forth, the legal gavel finally echoes the end of Sofía Vergara and Joe Manganiello‘s knot. According to a document obtained by E! News former couple solidified their separation by agreeing to a written property settlement. The court now awaits the judge’s nod to officiate the closure of the matter.
The pair first met in 2014 and soon after got married in 2015. After seven years of paradise the trouble was announced with a joint statement reading they both have “made the difficult decision to divorce.” In the statement given to Page Six on July 17, the pair asked for privacy on the matter. “As two people that love and care for one another very much we politely ask for respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives.”
Manganiello filed for divorce just a couple of days after announcing the news and at the time the legal documents read that the couple had been separated since July 2. The reason for the divorce was given as “irreconciable differences” on the paper but Sofia opened up about the details later.

The ‘Griselda’ star, candid and forthright, shared with a Spanish newspaper, “My marriage broke up because my husband was younger; he wanted to have kids and I didn’t want to be an old mom.” The ‘Modern Family’ star continued, “I feel it’s not fair to the baby. I respect whoever does it, but that’s not for me anymore.”
As a woman with a 32-year-old son, the 51-year-old said she has no desire to have another. “I had a son at 19, who is now 32, and I’m ready to be a grandmother, not a mother.” With a new romance brewing with 49-year-old surgeon Justin Saliman, Sofía seemed to be following her new dating rule. The one she shared on ‘Watch What Happens Live’ ,”To me, they can’t be younger than 50. OK, 49.”
