According to a TMZ report from September 3, the 34-year-old musician sought legal advice on a divorce after six months of “serious problems.” The pair got married in 2019 and welcomed two daughters together.
Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas both posted a joint message to their individual Instagram profiles. The brief statement read that it was “from the two of us” and that the relationship ended “mutually” and “amicably.” They also wrote about the “speculative narratives” surrounding the cause of the divorce while maintaining that the decision to get divorced was mutual.
