The trendsetter Naomi Campbell rejoined the supermodels Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington, and Linda Evangelista for the British Vogue cover recently. It was during a conversation among the stars that Campbell pointed out the discrimination that she faced at the early stage of her career. “Why was it that I was doing the same job as my colleagues and had to take less money?” the English model had questioned. She revealed the fact that she was being paid less despite being a top name in the industry.

Naomi Campbell was a name that ruled the runways but still, she found that she never got any ads. “Why was I booked for the shows but not the ads? I was not close-mouthed,” the activist said. “I have taken a backseat from the fashion world and now only driven by seeing that opportunities are being given,” the mother of two added. However, Campbell was always in the good book of Gianni Versace and Isaac Mizrahi, which hiked her position in the industry.
