Curtis Jackson, who goes by his stage name 50 Cent, was a part of the 2022 star-studded Super Bowl performance. He recreated the music video for ‘In Da Club‘ during his performance- which fans loved; but there was one catch. His performance was followed by fans commenting on his body and fat shaming him. Now, he is getting back at them.

50 Cent Shows Off His New Physique After Super Bowl Fat-Shaming
Performing at the Super Bowl is a big deal for any artist and the night is supposed to be special for them. However, at the 2022 Super Bowl, apparently, the weight 50 Cent had put on seemed to upset a lot of viewers who were displeased with how he looked.
Fast forward to two years later, the rapper underwent an impressive transformation, losing 40 pounds and calling out everyone who had fat-shamed him.
In a video posted on his Instagram, he said, “Everybody talking about weight loss. I was in the gym. I was working the f–k out, man. Who says Ozempic? I was running. I was running, I was doing what I had to do.” He then added, “You seen me on tour. I was running around. I was 253 lbs., I came down and I’m 210 right now. Oww, so how you feel about it?”
In another post, he credited the Super Bowl for the weight loss and in the caption he wrote, “I done turned into Mr let’s make a deal on these hoes” followed by a shrugging emoji. He further added, “The f*** you gonna tell me now? Yall was calling me fat at the super bowl [confused face emoji] don’t think I forgot that s***.”

The Rapper’s Weight Loss Journey
In an interview with Men’s Health, 50 Cent emphasized, “I’m … working out to get myself stronger, ’cause who’s to say you’re not gonna get hit again?” referring to the 2000 incident where he got shot. “It’s more important to get back in shape now than it was then. Simply because I’m getting older. It’s harder,” he continued.
Also talking about how he gained weight he said his work on the show on ABC ‘For Life‘ required him to get bulkier. “I was eating everything to get as big as possible. Because it was a jailhouse [role], so it didn’t matter if I wasn’t cut up,” the rapper said.
Ever since his transformation, 50 Cent has continued to share impressive pictures of himself on his Instagram, and the fans are here for it.
Well, even if the Super Bowl propelled him toward his journey to lose weight, he seems all geared up to woo his music fans again with his talent.
