Hailee Steinfeld On ‘Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse’
Hailee Steinfeld, who voices Gwen Stacy in ‘Spiderman: Across The Spider-Verse,’ did think that being in an animated movie would lessen her chance of playing a live-action character. She also talked about the MCU’s process, telling Horowitz about working without a script and trusting the vision of Phil Miller and Christopher Lord, the directors of ‘Spider-Man: Into The Multiverse.’
The ‘True Grit’ actress told the host why Spider-Man appeals to her, “These films are so grounded and rooted in its emotion and characters. I think one of the reasons I love Spider-Man so much is because he’s just a normal dude, and he puts on this suit and becomes a superhuman and takes it off, and instantly, he’s a normal person again and just trying to navigate life as it is.”
