Is There A Connection Between ‘Bones & All’ And Armie Hammer?
Chalamet’s upcoming film ‘Bones & All‘ deals with two lovers who are into cannibalism and go on a road trip. Director Luca Guadagnino released its trailer on the same day as Armie Hammer’s Discovery+ documentary ‘House of Hammer‘.
Hammer, who starred with Chalamet in Luca’s ‘Call Me By Your Name‘, has been accused of rape and cannibalistic sexual fetishes. People were quick to point out the connection between the two.
The director responded to these claims, “I realized this afterward when I started to be told of some of these innuendos on social media. Any link with anything else exists only in the realm of social media, with which I do not engage.”
He further said, “The relationship between this kind of digital muckraking and our wish to make this movie is non-existent and it should be met with a shrug. I would prefer to talk about what the film has to say, rather than things that have nothing to do with it.”
