Vivian Jenna Wilson changed her gender recognition from male to female in 2022, after she turned 18 years old. Along with her name change, she also said that she will be disassociating with her father in “any way, shape, or form. Recently, the billionaire’s biographer said that Vivian told her aunt that she was transgender and asked her not to tell her father, Elon Musk.

Elon Musk has been poking fun at the transgender community and other queer identities. But he has described his fallout with his transgender daughter as most painful after the death of his first child after 10 weeks of birth.
Due to this behavior of Elon Musk, his daughter Jenna may have told about her transition to her aunt rather than her father.
In an excerpt of Elon Musk’s biography by Walter Isaacson published in The Wall Street Journal, he wrote about the text message that she wrote to her aunt. Vivian Jenna Wilson texted her aunt, saying, “Hey I’m transgender, and my name is Jenna. Don’t tell my dad.”

He told Walter, “She went beyond socialism to being a full communist and thinking that anyone rich is evil.”
