Travis Kelce Is Set To Test The Waters In The Entertainment Industry
Travis Kelce, the NFL star known for his football talent, is set to take over Hollywood as well. The player had in a recent interview quipped that it is likely he would transition to Hollywood after he runs his course as an NFL star. However, Kelce is testing the waters already.
Reports suggest that the NFL star is in talks for hosting a reboot of the popular game show ‘Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?’ for Prime Video. At 34, Kelce is eyeing this opportunity to take the reins of the classic game show. According to insiders, the reboot would have celebrities instead of child contestants, as a fresh twist to the original format where common masses were the contestants.
This wouldn’t be Kelce’s first time being on television as a host. In 2023, he made an appearance on ‘Saturday Night Live‘ while his relationship with Taylor Swift was the topic of the hour. Besides, he has also been a part of the reality dating show ‘Catching Kelce‘ on E! back in 2016.

Travis Kelce Reflects On His Past Gig On ‘Saturday Night Live’
Travis Kelce’s potential gig as the host of the game show hosting comes after he openly spoke about his growing interest in the entertainment industry. Having recently produced two films, including the premiere of ‘My Dead Friend Zoe‘ at SXSW, and with an upcoming documentary on Jean-Michel Basquiat in the works, Kelce is venturing well into the world of entertainment.
Speaking about his experience hosting ‘Saturday Night Live‘, Kelce says he was grateful for the opportunity. He also admitted that he found unexpected joy in scripted comedy. “It was an experience that was like nothing else that I’ve ever gone through,” Kelce said
“I just can’t thank them enough for giving me that opportunity, because I didn’t know I was going to enjoy scripted comedy, or that entire entertainment world as much as I did, until I was on a set and going through the week of preparation and stuff like that,” he added.
Irrespective of whether or not he enjoys it, Kelce’s fans are definitely quite excited to see him take the reins of one of the most hit reality shows on television.
