Ryan Gosling ditched his leading man persona and channeled his superhit SNL skit character Beavis during the Los Angeles premiere of his latest flick ‘The Fall Guy‘. His look was quite impressive, complete with a prosthetic nose, blond wig, and the character’s quintessential Death Rock attire.

Accompanying the Barbie‘ actor was Mike Day, who slipped into Butt-Head’s shoes. Day was also perfectly dressed as his character with the signature shorts and makeup. The two brought back the comedic gold as they brought their SNL sketch to life again.

Before surprising his fans with the transformation, Ryan Gosling walked the red carpet alongside his costar Emily Blunt. The actor sported a minty fresh suit while Emily Blunt was seen in a tangerine-colored gown.

However, it was Ryan Gosling and Mike Day’s perfect transformation into their recent live-action versions of Beavis and Butt-Head that stole the show at the Los Angeles premiere. The viral Saturday Night Live sketch that aired on the April 13 episode had been a hit, with viewers responding quite positively.

Not only did the Gosling-Day duo leave the audience in stitches, they also garnered some heavy attention on YouTube with over 10 million views in just five days.

Even SNL stalwart Kenan Thompson found himself struggling to keep a straight face as Gosling and Day’s skit unfolded. “I just couldn’t prepare for what I saw. I really tried. I even saw Mikey out of the corner of my eye seconds before I went live,” Gardner told Vulture at the time.

I saw the red shorts. I knew I couldn’t look over there again. Mikey even told me later that he was bending down and hiding himself so I wouldn’t see him,” he added.

As ‘The Fall Guy‘ gears up to hit theaters on May 3, Ryan Gosling sure knows how to use his comedic charms and draw viewers to his latest film.
