Jennifer Aniston Talks About Her First ‘Friends’ Salary
Actress Jennifer Aniston has finally revealed what she did with the first salary for ‘Friends.’ In an interview with PopSugar, the 54-year-old actress said she bought a Mercedes convertible.
“There was a little white 280 SL Mercedes and it was there for a long time,” she said. “I mean, it could have been over two years. And I always was like, ‘I can’t wait, someday, someday [I’ll buy it].’ And one day I bought it, and then I drove it, and then drove it again, and it never drove again.”
However, Aniston quickly realized that the car had many manufacturing defects and called it a “nice 25-year-old mistake.” Aniston and her fellow cast members received $22,500 per episode. By the end of the series, everyone was taking home $1 million per episode.

Anniston Reunited With Her ‘Friends’ Co-Stars At Walk Of Fame
In February, Courteney Cox (who played Monica Geller) in ‘Friends‘, was honored at the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony. She was accompanied by both Aniston and Lisa Kudrow.
After Cox received the 2,750th star at the event, Aniston took to the stage to praise her friend. “To be friends with Courteney is to be family with Courteney,” she said.
Aniston further said: “She was immediately inclusive — warm, loving interested in everything about you. I was really nervous to meet her because I was a huge fan.” Kudrow recalled that Cox was the only famous actress in the ‘Friends‘ cast but she had no shade of arrogance.
