Who Is Lauren Hashian?
Lauren Hashian is an American singer and music producer. ‘Ride the Wave‘ and ‘Step Into a Love Like This‘ are her well-known songs. She is the daughter of the late Sib Hashian, the well-known drummer of the band Boston. Lauren has also appeared in shows like ‘RU the Girl?‘.
In December 2021 during an interview with Billboard, she revealed her father was the inspiration behind her career. “Seeing him practice every day, for me, it became part of my purpose — ‘He practices every day, I should practice every day, too.’ And so I have been practicing on my own in my room for years,” she said.
Lauren believes in having a low-profile life, especially for the safety of her daughters. “Since my man spends much of his life in front of a camera, I’m a little more reserved with stepping out and being ‘out there as much. It just gives us balance, and makes you appreciate privacy and ‘normal’ life even more,” she explained the need to have a life away from the public glare.

How Did Lauren Hashian And Dwayne Johnson Meet?
The lovebirds met in 2006 when Johnson was filming ‘The Game Plan‘. However, they started dating only in 2007. At that time Johnson was going through his divorce from his first wife Dany Garcia. “Within 30 seconds, I thought, ‘Wow, this girl’s stunning,'” “At the time, I was going through my breakup with Dany, and she was just coming off a big breakup too. Ironically, when you’re not looking for something, the power of the universe kind of takes over,” Johnson revealed in an interview with WSJ Magazine.
After almost a decade they finally got married in 2019 in Kauai, Hawaii. “We do. August 18th, 2019. Hawaii. Pōmaikaʻi (blessed) @laurenhashianofficial,” the action superstar captioned his wedding photos on social media.
