In June 2021, the young actor announced that he was in a relationship with actress Elsie Richter by sharing a picture of them together. The cozy and blurry picture has now been deleted.
Richter acted in the television series ‘Doll & Em’ in a pivotal role between 2013 and 2015. She has also appeared in the made-for-television short ‘Di Bibl.’ In an interview, Finn had said that some fans often threatened him to disclose his relationship or else they would release his personal information and Elsie’s address online. Elsie is from a film family. Her mother is English actress Dolly Wells and photographer Mischa Richter is her father. She also has a younger brother named Ezra Richter. Just like Finn, she also doesn’t post pictures of them together on social media for privacy.

In March 2021, the two were first spotted publicly which quickly started dating rumors. Elsie was absent from the premiere of ‘Stranger Things’ season four which sparked breakup rumors.
Millie Bobby Brown, Finn’s on-screen love interest, has introduced him to her real-life boyfriend Jake Bongiovi. The two have been in a relationship since June 2021 and are even engaged.
Wolfhard stated that once he disclosed his relationship with Elsie, the dust quickly settled. “They’re like, ‘Oh, okay, I’m so sorry. We love her,” he said about the social media fans.
