The White House is going to see yet another wedding today. Joe Biden’s eldest granddaughter Naomi Biden will be tying the knot with her long-time boyfriend, Peter Neal. Naomi Biden is the daughter of Hunter Biden and his ex-wife Kathleen Buhle. Naomi gets her name from her late aunt, Biden’s daughter from his first marriage who had died in a car crash.
The young lawyer was born and grew up in Washington, D.C. The President and his granddaughter share a deep bond. “He’ll pick up our calls no matter where he is. He’ll be onstage, giving a speech, and we’d call him and he’d be like, ‘What’s wrong?!’ ” Naomi said in an interview in 2020. And now he is celebrating her wedding in the White House. Who Is Peter Neal?
Peter Neal grew up in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. His mother Mary Neal is an orthopedic spine surgeon and the author of two books that were based on her near-death experiences in a kayaking accident. She also appeared in a Netflix docuseries, ‘Surviving Death’. The young lawyer’s family runs a small business in Wyoming. He has three siblings: Eliot, Betsy, and Willie, who died in a car accident in 2009.
Peter Neal is a law graduate from the University of Pennsylvania, currently working as an associate at Georgetown Law’s Center on National Security. He graduated from George Washington University with a major in political communication and a minor in journalism and mass communication. He had interned for the Obama White House and Hillary Clinton. Neal proposed to Naomi near his childhood home back in September 2021. The 25-year-old proposed to Naomi with an emerald-cut diamond incorporated into the band of his grandmother’s engagement ring.

All About Naomi Biden’s Wedding
The couple has been together for about four years now. The two were set on a date by a mutual friend in New City back in 2018. The duo is living together in Washington, D.C. with their dog Charlie. Neal can be often seen alongside his fiance at White House events and Biden family vacations.
The wedding will be held on November 19th on the South Lawn of the White House. This will be the 19th wedding to be held in the White House. “Peter and I are endlessly grateful to my Nana and Pop for the opportunity to celebrate our wedding at the White House. We can’t wait to make our commitment to one another official and for what lies ahead,” Noami tweeted back in April.
