She started her modeling career when she was in Ukraine and carried it to the U.S. when she migrated here in 2009. She has been with McVay since her college days, which was almost a decade back.
Veronika is a very public and hearty supporter of her home country and often speaks about the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. Raising her voice on social media, she calls the day of the invasion “the hardest day” she’d ever experienced. Before getting married, Sean McVay and Veronika Khomyn dated for a long time. Although the exact time is not known, but the two are said to have met between 2011 and 2013. The couple met while Khomyn was a student at George Mason University, according to People. Sean was at that time working as a coach for the Washington Commanders.
While on a vacation to France in 2019, McVay found the perfect opportunity to propose to her. The news was shared on Veronika’s Instagram with the caption, “Can’t wait to call him my husband.” The couple finally tied the knot on June 4, 2022, at a Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles.
