Sean Payton is an American football coach and former quarterback football player. Payton played for the Chicago Bears in the 1987 NFL season and also played for Eastern Illinois University and Naperville Central High School. He was the head coach of the New Orleans Saints team from 2006 to 2021 and is currently the head coach of the Denver Broncos. He led the New Orleans Saints to the Super Bowl victory in 2009. Payton was married to Beth Shuey from 1992 to 2014. He has been married to Skylene Montgomery since 2022.

Skylene Montgomery was born on December 4, 1984, in Parkersburg, West Virginia. She graduated from Marshall University with a degree in exercise physiology. Skylene then studied a nursing course at West Virginia University and even did an Advanced Degree in Nursing from Loyola University. She worked as an assistant nurse in West Virginia.
Apart from nursing, Montgomery has also participated in beauty pageants. She won the Miss Virginia pageant in 2007 and also represented her state in Miss USA 2008 pageant. Skylene Montgomery met Sean Payton at an NFL game in 2014 when she was a nurse in North Carolina. The couple dated for five years before Payton proposed to Montgomery at a party in November 2019. The couple got married on June 18, 2018, at a resort in Baja Peninsula. It is near the Sea of Cortez in Mexico. The ceremony was officiated by Payton’s close friend, former player, and Coach Avery Johnson.
The couple is often criticized due to the huge age gap between them. They have a 21-year age gap as Payton is 59 years old and Montgomery is 38 years old. But the criticism doesn’t deter them.
