Who Plays Poppy Proudfellow?
Megan Richards, the English actress, plays Poppy Proudfellow, in Amazon Studios’ TV series, ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’. Poppy Proudfellow is a Harfoot, one of three breeds of hobbit in the series, who appears alongside her best friend Nori. The 20-year-old actress, previously appeared on BBC/ Netflix series ‘Wanderlust’ which is also her debut series.
She received extensive training in acting. The British actress has trained at both West London Drama and The Brit School. Richards also appeared as a special guest on BBC’s ‘Doctors’. The majority of 2019, she spent acting in the German-made series ‘Pan Tau’. She also performed in the play ‘Extremism’ by National Theatre Connections at the Soho Theatre.

What Does Meghan Say About Her New Project ROP?
Of course, who would not be excited to be cast in the best franchise ‘Lord of the Rings’ which has 1000s of fans all over the world. Meghan Richards when asked about the series before it was released, shared her excitement for its premiere with Collider.
She said, “I’m excited that we get to sort of show a world that is just imagination. It’s just pure imagination that has been stretched to every single extreme. Um, and I’m excited for people to see all of the work that has been put into it, not just by the cast, but from the crew and production.” Richards also added, “And just to really see everything that’s been built, that’s been created, that’s been imagined and to sort of really immerse people into the world that we are fortunate enough to play in.”
